Anne has a unique perspective in the field of speech-language pathology in that she has a child with autism. Trying to provide her son, Sam, with the best possible support and education led Anne first into self-education and advocacy, and then to graduate school. Having been Sam’s mother for over 25 years has been her best education. Personal experience has taught her that when working with children, an effective therapist must offer assistance to not only the child but the family as well. She has extensive knowledge and experience with the pediatric population and additional volunteer experience related to working with schools, families and advocacy. Becky started her career in speech language pathology in the public schools working with preschool and school-aged children who had a range of language challenges from mild language and articulation to more significant impairments including children with syndromes and autism. She also helped start the preschool assessment team in the school district. She gained valuable experience working in the schools and now really enjoys the flexibility she has in a private practice where she can spend more individual time with each child and their family. Becky started working with Anne in 2002 and partnered with Anne to open the Frisco location where she is the director. Anne and Becky work personally with each family who calls the clinic to ensure that each and every child is paired with a therapist who best meets their individual needs. They continue to be accessible to all families throughout the treatment process. |

Anne opened her Plano clinic in 2001. Since that time, the clinic has expanded to include a clinic in Frisco, which opened in 2004, and the addition of occupational therapy in both locations.
